This research deals with meditation methods of Ledi Sayadaw, his disciples, texts, and commentary. The primary purpose of this paper is to know how to meditate on the methods of Ledi Sayadaw, how to live happily in daily life without worry, how to practice to get the Noble Path and Fruit in this life, to promote the Buddha dispensation. Knowing as a practice method is enough for insight meditators. The fontanelle has to be stared for five or ten minutes when meditating. Without meditation, the monks, novices, and ordinary laymen are not able to know the path and fruit; remove the wrong view; close the doors of the four woeful states and see Nibbāna. Every Buddhist should, therefore, attain at least one path and fruit, lock a door of hell and get the final bliss. The persons who obey the words of the Buddha should enter the stream of the path during two lives. Being unable to get the path and fruit is a problem for the Buddhists. The main objective is to develop meditation for everyone. This study is qualitative research along with descriptive and analytical study. This study focused on the meditation methods of Ledi Sayadaw regarding concentration and insight meditation. The data were collected from the books written by Ledi Sayadaw, his disciples, other great monks, and some texts regarding meditation, by reading oneself. People try to develop physical improvement today. But they ignore the importance of mental development. Without meditation, it is not easy to reach to a peaceful world because it can give the welfare of the mundane and supramundane for living beings.
