This paper discusses that the comparative study of variants: saṅghammajhāyanti and saṅkasāyanti in sammacitta vagga. This paper observers a little difference or gaps between saṅghammajhāyanti and saṅkasāyanti with Pāḷi, Commentary, Sub-commentary and other scholar standpoint and strong evidences in comparative research type. The primary purpose of this paper is to compare between saṅghammajhāyanti and saṅkasāyanti, and to become mature in examining the variant Pāḷi words. This paper also covers the methods of comparison, textual examination, analysis and assessment and it is not only comparative textual study but also formative to meet the requirements of the paper to some extent. Studying variant Pāḷi words with relevant evidences can be aware of authentic Pāḷī words and true or pure meaning and also freed from making wrong decisions in the Pāḷi Canon. It is perceived to obtain an ability to reveal the meaning of the Pāḷi canon by looking at the opening of the Commentary and Sub-commentary. This paper illustrates the fact that variations are mainly assessed and observed with comparative approaches depending on reasonable and valid evidences. It can be able to make knowledge awaken or sharpen and it can give the ability of decision correctly on Pāḷi words and also become mature in observing the Pāḷi literature. It can provide an opportunity for Pāḷi learners to know words of the Buddha in intrinsic purity.
