All living in the world used questions and example for having a discussion each other for the improvement of knowledge for solving the problems and for the realization of the clear meaning. Wherever people live in the world, they cannot live without questions or problem. Example is also used everywhere such as in communication of each other and teaching in the classroom etc. Therefore, if one tries to solve the difficult problems, one cannot solve it without example. Therefore, question and example are very important for discussion, solving the problem and also for opening up the knowledge of the children. This paper is to elucidate teaching forms taught by the Buddha to the children. Here, Buddha’s teaching is divided into two sections: teaching with question and teaching with example. The first one is to show how to make a question, how to ask a question in suitable way, how to instruct the question to the children and also how Buddhist question is different from other modern question used in nowadays including how to assess the children in a suitable way. The second is to show how many kinds of examples can be taught, what kind of example the Buddha taught to the children and how to teach example to the children. Especially to appreciate those mentioned above, the research will extract the resources with the special reference of Kumāra Sutta and Ambhalaṭṭhika Rāhulovāda Sutta and demonstrate as the teaching of question and example to the children.
