Human beings are searching for the wealth and comfortable situations for their own life. In order to get riches and set them at their ease, they overused the natural resources without controlling. Water, Soil and Air are the priceless gifts of the nature. Natural environment had already been polluted with many kinds of pollution such as water pollution, soil pollution, air pollution and so on due to the overuse of the natural resources. Pollutions threaten the human beings' health and ways of life. Nowadays human beings are trying to solve the environmental problems in many ways. If all people could not solve those problems, they have to hand the earth which are full of pollutions over to the next generations. On the other hand, if all have a responsible attitude, people are going to search for suitable ways to preserve the environmental problems. So, neglected religious guides and perspectives are needed to search for. Buddhism points out the ways leading to the cessation of Dukkha. Today environmental problems which called pollutions did not happen in the life time of the Buddha. Therefore, the discourses which are concerning with environmental problems cannot be found out easily. However, the Buddhist perspective on natural environment can be seen in Buddhist texts. Everything which cannot be created by human being is called as natural environment. In Pāli natural environment can be interpreted as Loka (earth) and Yathabuta (reality or to be).
