The nature of writing a research paper on the development and propagation of religion today is to highlight that the nuns and teachers of the religious lineage, like the monks, also serve for spreading Dhamma through ganthadhura as well as vipassanādhura. Because Buddhist nuns in Myanmar are engaged in the activities of teachers and Parahita, charitable social activities. The research is to analyze how far the activities for the promotion of religion have been able to perform by Buddhist nuns through the experiences of difficulties. The data in the research paper are provided by the head teachers of the major nunneries. In order to gain a more comprehensive understanding of their practices, students and teachers' observance of moral disciplines and methods for propagation of Dhamma will be analyzed by conducting a field survey and the discussion. The main impact of this paper is to empower that today, nuns, like the Buddha's disciples and monks, are actively engaged in both Ganthadhūra and Vipassanādhura.
