The name of dissertation is the Buddhist attitude towards deforestation which is mentioned in Tipiṭaka, commentaries, special text and all other related data. It shows to be conserving the role and impact of deforestation and to study how to manage deforestation for present society. From the study, it was found that condition of deforestation and harming animals. Both plant, life and animals are dependent each other. It is called environment. One should accept and consider that deforestation is environmental problem such as ecological disaster, pollution, global warming in current age. As a result, it is not raining regularly and flood when it rains heavily and mountains collapse. In summer, the weather is very hot because of deforestation. From Buddhist perspective, moreover, it is very important environment ethic. It is found that deforestation, when properly approached to the present societies from the Buddhist point of view towards deforestation, will lead to accepting the morality of behavior and how to overcome people’s sufferings from man-made disasters. By practicing the environment ethic is suitable for all living being. This dissertation can be help not to do carelessly in doing good deed and ethics or morality will help in one’s mind. In fact, this dissertation is based on ethical aspect of Buddhism. According to the various Buddhist scripture, ethic or moral is lead to Nibbhāna.
