Technology has been crucial to the advancement of education in the twenty-first century. In today's classroom, online learning has become a fundamental education element. Similarly, a majority of higher education organizations from around the world, including Myanmar, have increasingly embraced online education as a standard instructional delivery method for various educational contexts. Moreover, since the COVID-19 outbreak, online learning has become a common educational tool for students and instructors because the Internet makes information available from anywhere at any time. However, some teachers and students find engaging in online learning platforms challenging. The research aims to examine how teachers and students respond to learning management systems (LMS) in online education. To achieve the objectives, the study will carry out employing a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. The study used the survey questionnaire to gather information from 73 respondents (10 teachers and 63 students) who applied to an online learning platform at Sītagū Buddhist Academy Mandalay in Myanmar. The research's findings showed that both teachers and students had positive attitudes towards online education, and online learning platforms should be implemented as a good tool for acquiring knowledge (Paṭirūpadesavāsa). The findings highlighted the benefits, disadvantages, and challenges of online learning. Respondents also suggested that necessary teaching materials, such as a phone and computer, an adequate internet package or WiFi, and computer literacy skills, are required to implement Paṭirūpadesavāsa (a good place to learn) online learning platforms.
