The dissertation focuses on A Textual Study of Kiñcāpicattuka Dhammācariya Methodology. This task introduces Myanmar’s Argumentative writing method of Kiñcāpicatukka, an early debate style that is one of forty methods of the Pāḷi Higher Education of Dhammācariya Exam. The Kiñcāpicatukka is written with four steps: Codakābhoga, Codanā, Parihārābhoga, and Parihāra with Pāḷi language only. The main problem is to examine whether the sentence structure style of Kiñcāpi and Catukka formats are different or not according to different teachers. In this task, the researcher explores several research methods in the existing theories (proverbs) and philosophies and additionally tries to construct a conceptual framework through data analysis. Secondly, literature is presented not only overview of current knowledge but also make sources criticism standpoint, from the Chronology, methodology, and theory standpoint. After that, the researcher addresses Michael Gorman’s approaches to post-canonical literature design in chapter three. Then, the findings and discussions are evaluated in chapter four with a variety of Kiñcāpicattuka methods. The study investigated debate statement sentences and argumentative words only from the first Vagga of Majjhimapaṇṇāsa. There can be eleven patterns evaluated only in this research. The finding showed that: the Kiñcāpi sentence structure style can be changed according to evaluating patterns of Nānāvāda, and the formula deals with the meaning. In the research, some Catukka patterns cannot be evaluated according to Niyaṃ, which deals with the collected data, because most Patterns do not include Parihārābhoga and Codakābhoga. Finally, the researcher makes a conclusion with observed implications and recommendations in chapter five. Therein, one would grasp not only the improvement of Pāḷi writing skills but also the promotion of skills in speaking competitions or debates by studying the writing style of Kiñcāpicattuka; furthermore, it supports Research writing skills for relevant students.
