The main objective of the study is to describe the Buddhist Economic System, and Philosophy found in the three baskets (Tipiṭaka), especially in the Suttanta Piṭaka and Vinaya Piṭaka. The research deals with the Buddhist attitude towards fundamental economic ethics. In this context, the first section described the right livelihood as a key of Buddhist Economic Ethics. This section has been devoted to finding out how the original teachings of Buddhism exert influence on the socio-economic activities of the individual. And also, the next second section deals with the Buddhist point of view on the value of wealth. In this section, an attempt has been made by taking into consideration of the fundamental Buddhist teachings pertaining to physical and spiritual development. And then, the next third sections expressed about the Buddha's instruction for the acquisition of wealth. It is devoted to considering certain social features that are important in regulating economic activities, and it is to understand specific elements in the social structure. This context is devoted to a discussion of the philosophy that regulates and guides the financial actions of the individual. The research also deals with the Buddhist attitude to poverty. In this context, the first section and second section are concerned with the Economic downfall: Buddhist Perspectives and Poverty Alleviation: Buddhist Perspectives. It explained the economic downfall and poverty alleviation based on Buddhist Literatures.
